The Morgue Walk
Warden Verra Dain took the party to the morgue and essentially told them to spend their own spell slots if they wanted answers. The party’s shocking decision to be honest with her secured a conditional alliance. One corpse held a map sewn into its thigh detailing extraction routes and Shadow Guild territory.
The Public Health Emergency Arc
The investigation swerved toward Herbert’s double gonorrhea. The Temple District delivered a diagnosis with insulting efficiency, and the party chose the cheaper cure involving shame crystal. Herbert’s medical debt is gone; his social debt has achieved lichdom.
Glory in the Ring
Following Kest into the Shadow Guild, Herbert entered the arena against a brass warforged gladiator carrying pure Hulk Hogan Wrestlemania energy. Arthur cast Mirror Image to manufacture an entire front row of screaming fans while Mairi became the world’s most overqualified ring girl. Herbert won the fight and the Guild’s respect. The crowd won naming rights.
The Rubber Problem
The victory bought a meeting with the Architect and an introduction to Samantha, a seven-foot headless rubber golem who immediately fixated on Phor Skn. Phor received a blank sacred tome and the beginnings of a religion while Samantha vibrated with unhelpful affection directly behind him.
